Hello! This is my personal website and I intend it to use it for self-promotion, add flesh to my musings in the form of blog posts and brag about being the owner of a cool website!

I don’t intend on turning on comments. I want to keep it turned off, or possibly highly moderated, because of my concern about unwanted, garbage-tier, low -quality comments that might be in violation of local laws.
If I do turn on the comments, your IP might be collected by the website. You might be required to register with a valid mail ID to post a comment, which might be stored.
Media
I intend on uploading some images to the website. All the pictures exclusively belong to me. I don’t mind anyone using the images that I upload without my consent, although I would appreciate a heads-up! I don’t want anyone using the photograph of my mug without my consent though. That’s non-negotiable!
Cookies
There would be cookies stored in your computer when you visit this website. It’s just what WordPress does (and most of the internet in general, I would assume!). Absolutely NO personal data is collected. And, let’s be honest. I am no multi-national corporation. I neither have the means to harvest your data, nor the technical know-how.
If you leave a comment on the site, cookies will be stored to help you in auto-filling name and email address the next time you drop a comment. These cookies last for one year (assuming you don’t bleach your browser of cookies).
If you visit my login page, a cookie will determine if your browser accepts cookies (whaaat!). This contains no personal data and will be trashed when you close the browser.
When you log in, several cookies are setup to remember login information, screen display choices. These last for two days. If you select the “Remember Me” option, that period is extended to two weeks. The moment you log out, these cookies are discarded.
